Ibiyemi, the Nigerian singer, has a new baby.
Nigerian Soul singer, Ibiyemi, has double reasons to be ecstatic this month.
After what appeared to have been a long wait, the Abuja based artiste has finally released the video for her 80s style up-tempo track, Play, alongside news of the arrival of her little bundle of joy.
The soft-spoken vocalist, who has earned a devoted fan base courtesy singles such as Can You Love Me?, It Could Be (Feat. Dipo), and Don’t Leave Me, delivered a baby boy on Sunday December 23, 2012 in the U.S.
The singer who took some time off work to concentrate on the arrival of her baby is glad to finally release the Play video to her fans.
“I am very excited about the next chapter of my life, both personally and professionally. Thanks to all the devoted fans who kept tweeting and sending messages asking about the video. I appreciate your patience. It’s here!” she said.
