Again, court dismisses Babalakin’s suit to stop N4.7 billion money laundering trial

The court dismissed Mr. Babalakin’s suit on Friday

Again, a Federal High Court in Lagos has dismissed a suit filed by Bi-Courtney boss, Wale Babalakin, seeking to restrain the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from prosecuting him.

The judge dismissed the “cat and mouse” suit on Friday.

Mr. Babalakin is being prosecuted by the EFCC at a Lagos High Court for helping convicted felon and former Delta States Governor, James Ibori, launder N4.7 billion.

Friday’s dismissal follows an earlier one by another Federal High Court judge.
