There is evil force among Nigerian security agents- Gumi

The Islamic scholar says some Nigerian security agents hide under masks to kill.

By Mohammed Yaba

An Islamic Scholar in Kaduna State, Ahmad Gumi, has alleged that there is an evil force among Nigerian security agents that makes them commit crimes against humanity in the name of fighting terror.

The scholar, known for his outspokenness, posted this comment on his facebook page. He was reacting to the cordon and search operation carried out by combined security forces at Rigasa, Kaduna State on Thursday.

Mr. Gumi also faulted the army’s decision to demolish the houses of suspected terrorists after conducting their operations, saying there was no need for that.

“Why is the need to demolish homes when they should be forensic evidences in a court of law?”

“The point is that there is an evil force in the security hiding behind the mask committing all crimes against humanity in the name of fighting terror,” he alleged.

On the post, the scholar, apparently referring to the security agents, said he believes that anyone who kills an innocent life will not go unpunished.

“That is why Maj. Nzeogwu, Maj. Dimka, Brig. Bisalla, Gen. Azazi etc. didn’t live to enjoy their lives,”

“So will also be the end of those that shed people’s blood to stay afloat! May Allah Guide us all and protect us from all Evil, amen,” he said on his facebook page.

He lamented that many Christians and church goers have been victims of various terror acts, committed by terror groups as Boko Haram.

“We have unequivocally condemned it as un-Islamic quoting copiously from the Quran and the Hadith in previous sermons,” he said.

yes! Sheikh is 100% right. We see all that he said with our own eyes. These evil security agents are none but CAN agents sent by FG body to come and kill us here in our own country. If not so, why the attacks in the north been incessent?! Why only north? Why, despite these security agents the attacks are still happening?! Why the attacks now turned to civilians?! Why always when there’s an attack, the security agents go rampant killing and destroying public properties? Are these security agents not working in their own country? Is north not part of Nigeria? So why!
Thank God that Facebook is not your own. So you cant stop us from saying what we feel!!!

We must pray against the degeneration of the present state of affairs into a full fledged ethnic and religious war. Every coner of the muslim north is convinced beyond redemption that the christian head of state in conjunction with C.A.N. leadership from the south are bent on extermination of northern muslims. The govt must come out and clear the air if possible by posting only indigenes of state as security operatives. The situation is that bad at the moment.
Politicians wishing to gain political milage have seized on the situation to fan the embers of ethnic and religious hatred.

Did I hear him mention Boko Haram who murder thousands of innocent Nigerians? Agreed the Nigerian security forces at times behave like the terrorists-in fact there is no marked difference between Boko Haram and our security forces-yet Gumi rarely condemns anything violent coming from Islamic extremists, why? Because all he cares for, like most Nigerian religious leaders is the mass of idiots that swallow every lie from them. I want to see northern Muslim clerics rise up and condemn Boko Haram and their backers because in the near future Boko Haram will consume every one of them, it’ll (it’s already doing so) destroy the north and whatever opportunities it has to move along with a 21st century Nigeria.
Gumi, should if at all he has to condemn violent actions, go the whole hog or just shut up!
Nigeria lacks men who detach themselves from a situation and speak the truth to the people. I bet Nigerians both Muslims and Christians alike, northerners and southerners will support that individual because truth is a universal virtue it appeals to everyone who longs for it
