The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, will inaugurate the headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Friday, 23 October 2026.
The event marks a major step toward strengthening the movement’s nationwide grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The inauguration, scheduled for 3 p.m., will bring together leaders, political stakeholders, coordinators, supporters and other guests to mark the opening of the office, which will serve as a strategic centre for coordinating its activities in the Federal Capital Territory and supporting its national mobilisation programme.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is convened by Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, who serves as its Grand Patron.

The Abuja office is expected to provide a platform to coordinate activities, strengthen communication among its various structures, support state and local government coordinators, and facilitate the movement’s outreach to communities across the country.
The movement’s National Coordinator, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, said the inauguration would reinforce the organisation’s determination to build a strong, effective grassroots network capable of reaching voters nationwide.

According to the PBAT Door-to-Door movement, its strategy is anchored on direct engagement with citizens, with members and coordinators expected to take the President’s message to households, markets, workplaces, religious centres and other gathering points.
The movement believes sustained grassroots engagement will help Nigerians better understand the Tinubu administration’s policies and programmes, while giving residents opportunities to express their views and concerns.
Since it began its state-level mobilisation activities, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has continued to expand its presence across the country by inaugurating state chapters, establishing local government coordinating structures, and distributing vehicles and other campaign materials to support its operations.
The movement has mobilised in several states, including Katsina, Borno, Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Oyo, Yobe, Bauchi, Kwara, Gombe, and Ondo, distributing over 300 campaign vehicles and equipment to the states.
In Katsina State, the movement inaugurated coordinators across the state’s 34 local government areas and deployed 34 vehicles to strengthen grassroots engagement and facilitate outreach to communities.
In Borno State, it deployed 44 vehicles alongside public-address equipment to support mobilisation activities and improve the movement’s capacity to communicate with residents across the state.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement also expanded to Kano State, where it provided 50 vehicles to support its grassroots mobilisation programme across the state’s 44 local government areas.
In Taraba State, the movement inaugurated its state structure in Jalingo and presented 25 vehicles to support its coordinators and community engagement.
Similar initiatives were undertaken in Nasarawa and Kogi states, where the movement deployed 25 vehicles to each state to improve the mobility of local government coordinators and strengthen its operational capacity.
The movement has also expanded its mobilisation drive to the North-Central and South-West regions, with recent activities in Kwara and Ondo states, as well as the North-East, where it inaugurated its Gombe State chapter.
In Kwara State, the movement deployed 34 vehicles during the inauguration of its state chapter in Ilorin. The exercise was designed to support door-to-door mobilisation, improve coordination across communities and strengthen the movement’s presence at the local government and ward levels.
In Gombe State, the movement inaugurated its state chapter and deployed 26 vehicles to facilitate its outreach across the state’s 11 local government areas and 13 local development areas.
The movement also inaugurated its structure in Ondo State, deploying 26 vehicles to support grassroots mobilisation. During the exercise, Tompolo charged coordinators to intensify engagement with registered voters and translate support for President Tinubu into votes at the polls.
Across these states, the movement has emphasised taking its campaign to the grassroots rather than relying solely on conventional political rallies and large public gatherings.
Its approach involves establishing a network of coordinators and ambassadors who can engage residents directly, communicate the administration’s policies and encourage participation in the electoral process.
The movement’s mobilisation programme focuses on communicating the policies, initiatives, and achievements of the Tinubu administration while encouraging citizens to make informed decisions ahead of the 2027 general election.
Its leadership has urged coordinators to explain the administration’s programmes on infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic reforms, and development, while respectfully engaging residents and listening to the issues affecting their communities.
Through its expanding state structures, the organisation aims to connect national leadership with grassroots supporters and establish an effective channel for communicating the President’s agenda to communities across the country.
The movement’s leadership has maintained that the success of its door-to-door strategy will depend on coordinators, ambassadors, and supporters’ commitment to sustained engagement, accurate information, and peaceful political participation.

The inauguration of the Abuja office is therefore expected to strengthen the coordination of these activities and provide an institutional base for advancing the movement’s national objectives.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is working to establish a presence across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, with structures extending through local government areas, wards, and polling units.
The movement’s long-term objective is to build a coordinated grassroots network that can sustain direct engagement with voters and support its mobilisation activities nationwide.
Its leadership has called on supporters and stakeholders to remain committed to peaceful engagement, issue-based communication and respect for citizens with differing political opinions.
The Friday inauguration in Abuja will mark another stage in this expansion, providing a focal point for the movement’s activities in the nation’s capital as it intensifies preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
The movement therefore invites its members, supporters, and other invited stakeholders to attend the inauguration as it continues to expand its grassroots network and advance its campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election.
