Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez has completed a move from Millwall to the Premier League after signing a four-year contract with Brighton and Hove Albion FC for an undisclosed fee.
The transfer was completed after both clubs submitted a deal sheet ahead of the 11pm deadline on Monday, extending the window until 1am on Tuesday to allow the formalities of the deal to be concluded.

The club’s sporting director, Mike Cave, expressed delight at the arrival of the Nigerian winger, describing him as one of the Championship’s most exciting attacking talents.

Azeez, who is just 25, made 77 appearances for Millwall, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists during his time at the club.
His move to the Premier League marks the latest step in an impressive rise through the English football divisions.
The winger began his development at Watford before dropping into non-league football with Northwood. He subsequently played for Wealdstone and Hanwell Town before earning a move to Reading in 2019.
Azeez joined Millwall in 2024 and enjoyed his most productive campaign last season, helping the club secure a place in the Championship playoffs.
His performances earned further recognition as he was named in both the PFA and EFL Championship Teams of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign.

His rise has also extended to the international stage, with Azeez making his senior debut for Nigeria earlier this year.
The winger made an immediate impact for the Super Eagles, scoring both goals in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe on his debut in June.
He followed that performance by providing an assist in his next appearance as Nigeria defeated Jamaica 3-0 four days later.
Azeez will now take the next step in his career in the Premier League, following a remarkable journey that has taken him from youth football and the non-league divisions to the top flight of English football.
